Being an Entrepreneur is everyone's dream, even if they don't admit it. No one wants to fail or have to show up and work for the same salary, week after week at a particular location - 5 times a week or more in some cases.

I can say this with confidence because I have failed.

After starting 2 companies in my early 20's, things didn't go as planned - so yes I failed.

Today I'm proud to say I'm in my late 20's and now have two startups that are pretty much on their way to being successful by my standards. My standards, because I've funded every single project with absolutely no outside funding.

Today, I live my passion of helping other entrepreneurs, small businesses and startups - So they can get to the next level with marketing strategies and other consultation services. 

The problem - how can you win without failures?

Fail fast, fail slow still amounts to the same outcome - you failed. What matters is the lesson learned from your experiences as you move on to grow.

Today, it's everyone's dream to be successful, have a simple life - depending on what you consider simple. The same goes with luxury - depending on what you consider luxury.

Remember, money can solve big problems but can't really bring true happiness - this has to come from within. 

My point - being happy depends solely on you and only you. 

To fully understand where you are in life, if you do happen to be in your 20's - here are top 10 ways to become a better entrepreneur and leader before 30;


1. Motivation

As an Entrepreneur, this is the number one killer of dreams! If you have an idea but no motivation, simply don't start. It's essential to be motivated so you don't lose sight of where you are going, what you are doing or how you want it done. I've never heard of anyone seating on a couch procrastinating, doing nothing who became a success at anything. Actions will take you places, these places will give you more energy - in turn you will stay motivated.

2. Passion:  

Without passion, it's hard to understand what you want to accomplish. This is especially important if you are trying to make a career out of something.

It's easy to give up on something that has no place in your time slot, but will you give up your passion?

3. Ideas

An idea is the most daring of all but with many flaws. Everyone has ideas - seriously, ideas are just that. If you don't act on them, then forget it. The biggest excuse goes like this - "I have a great idea but there is another company just like it". Well, sorry for the bad news - there are tones of companies like it, what make your idea unique is you. What gives life to your idea is you - so give it life and make it yours.

4. Money:  

I know you will like this to be number one - my argument, Money is a resource not a need. If you can come up with an idea, have passion and patience. There is no surprise you will get to the money in due time.

5. Validation:  

How do I know if people will like my product or service? This can be hard, but not impossible. The key here is not to wait until you have the final product, you have to get your product out there - get feedback from your potential product and then work on the pin points before exposing to the masses. 

I just work - however people feel about it, I mean, at the end of the day, if I’m waiting for accolades, I could be waiting all my life, but I don’t need that stuff to validate me. I just do what makes me happy.

6. Sacrifice:  

What will you give up to grow and get to your level of success? It's particularly difficult to answer this question if you don't understand what sacrifice means in this aspect. Are you willing to stop doing the things that make you not productive? Only you has the answer - figure it out and let go, so you can concentrate on building towards the future.

7. Patience:  

Nothing happens over night and there is no time specifics on what can happen. The only thing you have is your passion, sacrifice motivation and in most cases - Wisdom, that will keep you going. Don't settle, always know you are one step away from being victorious.

8. Determination:

This goes without any debate. You want it, go get it. If you say you want to be success at anything, no one can stop you from rolling the dice. All you have to do is have clear vision and strife to make sure you can keep the momentum going. No entrepreneur ever built a company without determination.

9. Fearless:

 When you are scared this get complicated. You might start to see problems where there are none. Stay focus and don't listen to anyone but your intuition. If they haven't done it, don't think you can't. We are all different.

10. Knowledge:

Take the time everyday to learn something new, this is how you gain information - understand why you are doing what you do or just simply build on your skills. Being an entrepreneur is a constant learning process where you acquire knowledge for other advancements in the future.
